She stepped on the scale to weigh in for the first time following the skin removal surgery. Before undergoing the surgery, she weighed 220 pounds. But now she discovered that the surgery has dropped her weight to 195 pounds.

Overjoyed by her new weight, Vannessa celebrated the moment with the plastic surgeon. She said, “I’ve never been under no 200 pounds!, To see 195 on this scale, I am losing my s—.” She further expressed pride in her accomplishment, feeling her late parents would be proud of her. Then, she imagined them celebrating the milestone from heaven.

Next, Vannessa’s doctor noted that her weight may continue to drop as she recovers from the surgery. Hence, he asked her to resume daily activities.
