Tracker Season 2 Begins Filming in Vancouver This Summer
Filming on the second season of CBS’ action-drama ‘Tracker’ will begin in Vancouver, British Columbia this summer. Ben H. Winters and Hilary Weisman Graham return as showrunners for the series, which is based on the novel ‘The Never Game’ by Jeffery Deaver. In the latest episode of the series, which aired on March 3, Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) takes on a case close to the family of one of the main characters, Reenie. When a teenage boy with substance abuse issues goes missing from a high-security school, Colter is tasked with tracking him down, leading to revelations about a hidden secret relationship and a mysterious individual named Zeke. The episode is packed with suspense, twists and emotional moments between Colter and Reenie. The search for the missing boy unfolds a complex web that proves Colter’s expertise and determination. As the episode concludes, a job opportunity awaits Colter in Manhattan, Kansas.

As ‘Tracker’ progresses through its first season, the plot continues to develop with each episode. Viewers can expect more of Colter Shaw’s complex cases, delving deeper into his lone survivor persona and his complicated family dynamics. The remaining two episodes of the current season promise to deliver more twists, revelations, and tense moments as Colter navigates the challenges posed by each new investigation. The events of these final episodes are expected to set the stage for the second season.
While the cast for the second season has yet to be announced, we can expect Justin Hartley to return as the tough survival expert Colter Shaw. Along with a host of supporting cast members, each episode of the show introduces a host of guest stars, adding depth to the plot as the eponymous watcher navigates challenging cases. While the guest stars for season 2 have yet to be revealed, we can expect to see Robin Weigert as Teddi Bruin, Abby McEnany as Velma Bruin, Eric Graise as Bob Exley, and Fiona Rene as Reenie in the upcoming season.
“Tracker kicked off our premiere week with a bang in viewership and has kept the momentum going,” Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement. “We knew we had something special when we saw the first cut of the series, and the overwhelming audience response confirmed it. We can’t thank Justin, the talented cast, the incredible writing and production team, and our partners at 20th Television enough for such compelling episodes.” And of course, we are also grateful to the millions of viewers who tuned in every week,” Reisenbach added.
Similar to the first season, production on the second season is expected to take place in Vancouver. The area is known for its stunning filming locations, having recently hosted notable productions such as ‘The Last of Us’ and ‘Fire Country’.
