Hot news that can’t be ignored about ‘SEAL Team’ boss: Bravo ‘in danger in a very different way’ compared to the last episode of Season 5

‘SEAL Team’ boss: Bravo’s ‘in danger in a very different way’ than Season 5 finale

David Boreanaz and Jessica Pare in 'SEAL Team'
It’s hard to think about anything beyond the tragic loss Bravo just suffered in SEAL Team, there’s a lot more going on and a lot to address in the final episodes of Season 6.

However, we will see the impact the loss of Clay (Max Thieriot) will have on Bravo in some important ways going forward, and that includes leading up to the choices that will determine how the season ends. any. Executive producer Spencer Hudnut shares more about that and breaks down the season’s other storylines below.

I like what you did with the dynamic of Jason (David Boreanaz) and Omar (Raffi Barsoumian) and the fact that even though Jason trusted him with TBI, they still have feelings for each other. Is that what we’ll continue to see for the rest of the season?

Spencer Hudnut: I think it’s a mature moment for Jason to be so open with Omar, and yes, there’s still a sense of discomfort, but I think Omar’s reaction, Omar’s kind of commitment that he’s going to for Jason… Jason knows deep down that Omar is a great operator and a solid guy, and that trust will continue to grow in these last few episodes. We’ll put them in situations [where] they really need to rely on each other, which I think will further strengthen that relationship.

Is Jason right to feel this way about that medal, what might it reveal and what they’re trying to cover up?

Jason didn’t do this for the medal. He doesn’t do it for attention. I think the fact that Clay lost his leg in that surgery made it difficult for him to accept it as something that should be celebrated. And also what Lisa’s [Toni Trucks] is exploring – Jason’s been here a long time and he understands the military’s playbook and how they cover things up and how sometimes they try to make people people look in one direction rather than the other. So I think he has a point in not necessarily wanting that, but the people around him understand that he earned it, he saved Clay’s life. His reaction to the medal was actually a big part of the season finale for him.

We’ve seen how frustrated Davis has been all season. There’s a very interesting exchange between her and Blackburn (Judd Lormand) in this episode about who exactly is on her team, and she also has a falling out with Sonny (A.J. Buckley).

We are trying to develop her character. As she assumed more leadership in command, it became more and more difficult for her to be a member of the Bravo family. Like we see a lot with Jason, she is feeling the burden of leadership. She’s really trying to find out who’s behind this attack on Crampton. But she also understood, and she felt her own guilt, as she had made clear in 601, about the ambush that had cost Clay a leg.

She’s truly conflicted this season over her desire to seek justice for her injured and now fallen comrade, as well as her greater responsibility in command. And again, just as the Bravo family is truly grieving Clay’s injuries, there are 20 families of the slain Crampton members who also need justice, so she feels that responsibility. Compared to her, it’s just discovering the burden of leadership, and again, as she advances in her career, it makes it harder for her to have the connection to Bravo that she loves so much . What I really like that you’re doing the season is Jason and Mandy’s (Jessica Paré) relationship and the two running into the fire, but there’s a question of how long these two can do that and keep going. Maintain the relationship as it is now. What’s going on?

I think in that scene in Episode 7, when Jason realizes Ray is retiring, when he sees Clay accept that he has to stay active, Jason realizes, “I’m not ready to leave yet.” So he started asking the question, would I really be able to maintain this relationship if I continued to be Bravo 1 and run into the fire? But one of the things that Clay’s tragedy does is that it really allows people to focus on what’s really important. So I think for both Mandy and Jason. Unfortunately, Clay’s downfall brought their attention to what they really wanted.

So should we expect an engagement, a proposal, or talk of marriage?

I don’t think we’ve reached that point yet. I think continuing a stable relationship would be a win for Jason, based on how he’s reacted to past tragedies. Continuing to have that balance is really important for him.

Sure, they talked about it. I think his garage apartment arrangement represents where he is in his personal life and if he continues to prioritize his relationship then he’ll probably have to find something warm
