SEAL Team season 5: Ray to retire as fans spot 'advocacy' clue? | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV | Express.co.uk
After first airing on CBS in 2017, this military drama became a huge hit with fans around the world. SEAL Team faces a big change in the season with the move to Paramount Plus, as season five begins to wrap up, fans believe these could be Ray Perry’s (Neil Brown Jr) last few episodes as How to be a member of Team Bravo.
In the most recent show titled ‘Close to Home’, fans got to see each team member away from the battle and with their families.

This happened after the Bravo team went on a major mission and was deployed to West Africa to destroy three targets following several terrorist attacks.
Despite being at home, family life is also complicated for some of them, including their leader Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz).

Although he eventually suppresses his emotions, Jason still has to deal with his guilt over learning that he wasn’t the best husband when his wife Alana Hayes (Michaela McManus) died.
As well as finally looking up the symptoms of his mysterious headache and discovering it was Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Elsewhere Clay Spenser (Max Theriot) and Stella Baxter (Alona Tal) are preparing to welcome their newborn after her water breaks.

Clay has previously hinted at leaving the Bravo team to spend more time with his family when his child is born.

Ray has been dealing with his Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and after seeking professional help, he slowly but surely got better.
With the Bravo team focusing on moving away from work, one Reddit user suggested that this could be the end for them.

Taking to Reddit, they shared: “It looks like they are preparing for an ending, I guess maybe season 6.

“Ray was able to retire after the age of 20 and due to his support, Clay was able to be portrayed as such a bad executive that he was quickly fired.

“Perhaps how Clay’s family turns out will be the deciding factor in whether he becomes the second Jayson Hayes or a frog in the family.
