TV tonight: ‘SEAL team angered by American deserter
NBA Basketball, Warriors at Thunder (5 p.m., ESPN): The Warriors once again visit Kevin Durant’s abandoned city as they get their first taste of the new-look Thunder with Paul George and Carmelo Anthony by their side MVP Russell Westbrook. But Durant, who is suffering from a sprained ankle, may not play.
“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” (8 p.m., ABC): The Peanuts gang returns in this longtime special. Unfortunately, plans for Charlie’s special dinner go awry when the caterers, Snoopy and Woodstock, prepare toast and popcorn as main courses.
“SEAL Team” (9 p.m., CBS): In “The Exchange,” Jason and the SEAL Team have mixed feelings when assigned to bring home an American soldier captured after desertion, in exchange for people detained in Gitmo.
“Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House” (9 p.m., HGTV): This new series features Drew and Jonathan Scott rushing to complete a major renovation of the 1920s Los Angeles home that Drew and fiancee Linda Phan call home.
“iHeartRadio Music Festival” (8 p.m., The CW): It’s Night One of the big concert event from Las Vegas. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the show featured performances from Pink, Harry Styles, Coldplay, Chris Stapleton, The Weeknd and others.
“Frontline: Poor Kids” (10 p.m., PBS): The news-documentary series presents an indelible portrait of the reality of growing up poor in America, told by children of three family for half a decade. This is a new version of the 2012 Emmy-nominated documentary that explores the economic crisis through the eyes of children. This update returns to the children at the center of the film to see what their lives are like today and offers a powerful, first-hand look at what poverty means for children and the country.

“Godless” (Netflix): Get ready for this epic seven-part Western from producer Steven Soderbergh. The film tells the story of notorious criminal Frank Griffin (Jeff Daniels) and his group of outlaws, who are on a mission to take revenge on Roy Goode (Jack O’Connell), a human protégé. The boy betrayed his brotherly love. While on the run, Roy finds refuge with tough widower Alice Fletcher (Michelle Dockery), an outcast, in a desolate, isolated mining town run mainly by women. When word reached La Belle that the Griffin was moving toward them, the town banded together to defend against the murderous gangs of the lawless western frontier.
“Barbra: Music…Memories…Magic!” (Netflix): Barbra Streisand fans won’t want to miss this concert event as the legendary entertainer takes viewers on a journey through her career of a lifetime. She joined a list of special guests, including Jamie Foxx, who went on a special diet with her.
