Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace)

are set to finally get their dream wedding day in

upcoming EastEnders scenes – but could it all be set to turn into a nightmare?

The much-loved couple thought they had put the past behind them for good when Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) was sent to prison last

month, but their peace was never going to last.

In recent scenes, Nish staged a dramatic escape from prison by paying off one of the doctors, and has been hunkering down in Albert Square ever since.

Despite Nish being missing, Suki and Eve decide to press on with their wedding plans, and are soon getting ready to enjoy their joint hen do.

‘Suki knows Nish too well, and I think she may have led herself to believe that this was the last of him, but I don’t think she is entirely surprised that he has broken out,’ actress Balvinder Sopal revealed.

‘What has surprised her is the length that he has gone to show his face again. I also think she’s a lot stronger now, which is why she makes the decision to continue.’

However, the celebrations are cut short when the police arrive and inform them that Nish has been spotted in Walford.

Terrified for their safety, Suki gets cold feet about the wedding.

‘I think there is a huge cloud that is hanging over this happy moment in Suki’s life, and Nish isn’t somebody to let things lie,’ Balvinder explained.

‘If he gets wind of it, there is always the danger of him getting involved somehow, and just destroying any bit of happiness that Suki has. Not just her, the whole family as this is a really lovely moment for everyone involved, and Nish has the potential to totally rip that from under her feet.

‘Everyone is bracing themselves as Nish has a vendetta.’

Fortunately, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) is on hand to give Suki a pep-talk, and soon she is convinced to go ahead with tying the knot.

Little does she know, Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) continues to be manipulated by his grandfather…

With the celebrations back on track, Suki and Eve head to Harry’s Barn for their hen party.

The vision of happiness, the couple are completely unaware of Nish lurking in the shadows, threatening to ruin it all…

The next day, the residents of Albert Square come out in full force for Suki and Eve’s wedding day – but will everything go to plan?
