EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) showed up at Rafe’s (Galen Gering) to discuss their “case,” and when Jada (Elia Cantu) stepped out, EJ warned Arnold (Galen Gering) not to lay a hand on his “fiancee” and stay focused on helping him pay for getting him fired as DA. Justin (Wally Kurth) and Alex visited Bonnie, who was in the hospital covered in casts and bruises. Justin tried asserting that his wife was no longer working on B&S, but Alex talked him down. Justin found out she never had a fitting to attend, the one that sent her to the elevator. He asked Jada to investigate while a mysterious person struck an X through a photo of Bonnie. After Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) tried thanking Stephanie (Abigail Klein) for her discretion, Xander (Paul Telfer) arrived at work and agreed to work with his brother as a team for their father’s sake. Then Philip agreed to go after DiMera with him. Later, Jada asked Stephanie to be her maid of honor and Alex found out Stephanie broke up with Philip. Sarah got the all clear to return to work.

Leo dreamed about Kerry trying to kill him, then woke up and found comfort in Javi. At the station, Jada questioned Kerry about Bonnie’s fall after Javi tipped her off about him being Lady W. Abe asked Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to be Bonnie’s recast while she recovers, and she reluctantly agreed. At the pub, Joy told Kate that Bonnie’s fall was Chanel’s fault because of the sudden exit scene, then admitted she’s seeing Alex. Stephanie confessed to Alex that she had only started dating Philip to get over him, and then the two admitted they still had feelings for each other. Stephanie offered to quit B&S in order to get back together with him. The mystery person hung their Xed photo of Bonnie on a corkboard before getting the photo of their next victim: Alex.

Brady (Eric Martsolf) comforted a worried Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Shawn (Brandon Beemer) got a lead about a little girl who was hit by a car. Belle (Martha Madison) joined him at the ER, only to discover it wasn’t Rachel (Finley Rose Slater). Tate (Leo Howard) vented to Marlena (Deidre Hall) about his missing sister and his impending fatherhood. Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) overheard Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) telling Ava (Tamara Braun) that she already had her doctor’s appointment, then shot down her idea of putting the baby up for adoption. At Tate’s, Holly showed up and tried to help get the word out about Rachel on social media when Sophia showed up in tears over her fight with her mother. Marlena met Steve (Stephen Nichols) at the pub and asked for his help getting in touch with her husband. He told her that Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) had turned down his request to speak with him. Later, Rachel was seen at an abandoned house.

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) stopped Kristen from going inside the wall and then tried comforting her as she worried about Rachel. At Kristen’s mother’s house, Rachel ran into a woman in white, also named Rachel (Roslyn Gentle). After Rachel told the woman in white what was going on, the woman in white suggested they get Ava out of the picture. Rachel called Ava asking for help, then Ava showed up and the Rachels knocked her out. Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) showed up at Marlena’s office inquiring about her assistant job, then she admitted she has feelings for Chad (Billy Flynn). Chad broke it to JJ (Casey Moss) that Cat is staying in Salem, then they both talked to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about her grief. They convinced her to talk to Marlena, where they ran into Cat.
Week Ahead
Soon, in Salem, Rafe (Galen Gering) and Jada’s wedding will get underway, but with the wrong groom.
