EastEnders’ Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) gets a blast from the past next week that threatens to upend his family’s new life in Walford.
Upon their arrival in Albert Square last year, it became apparent Harry and his dad Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) were hiding a big secret.
It was later revealed that Harry’s former girlfriend Shireen had disappeared, with many people from their previous life believing he was somehow involved in the historic incident.
After getting involved in a feud with Walford copper Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Harry was arrested. However, his mum Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) came to the rescue with a false alibi from the night Shireen went missing.
As such, fans of the BBC soap were left in the dark about what happened to Shireen and if Harry was really responsible for her disappearance.
Next week marks the fourth anniversary since she went missing, and with all the recent goings-on with Teddy, Nicola, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar), tensions are already running high at No.1.
As Harry heads to work over at The Arches, he gets an unexpected visit from Shireen’s brother Asad, who has some bombshell news.

He admits he no longer believes Harry was involved in Shireen’s disappearance, and it later transpires he thinks someone close to Harry is responsible.
Asad causes chaos at a vigil Nicola has arranged for Shireen at the club when he publicly accuses Teddy of murdering his sister.
While Harry immediately defends his dad, back home, he begs Teddy to tell him the truth.
However, there looks to be a whole lot more to the story when Nicola is seen visiting a mysterious character called Benji, asking where Shireen is…

Teasing the drama that unfolds for Nicola around Shireen’s anniversary, actress Laura Doddington reveals: ‘I think to begin with she is hoping that she’ll be able to sweep it under the carpet and it won’t be that big of a deal compared to previous years.
‘But after that, it’s about her nurturing her son Harry, who is broken, and just trying to be there as much as she can for him. She adores Harry so it breaks her heart to see him so upset.’
