The episode began with a dejected Dylan receiving another rejection call from a recruiter as he continued his search to land a normal job.

Belle promised that she’d get the apprenticeship sorted at some future date, and asked her to clean the office and monitor phone calls until then.
Dylan met April outside Take A Vow after she’d finished, where April delivered the news about the delay in her apprenticeship and wondered aloud if it was “a sign”.
“I was thinking about what you said earlier about qualifications and prospects and stuff,” she said. “Maybe my dad is right, maybe I should redo my final year and get my GCSES, maybe.”

April admitted that she was nervous at the idea, but Dylan encouraged her to return to school – calling her one of the smartest people he knew and reminding her it’s only a year.
“Guess that’s it then, I’m going back to school. Better go tell my dad,” she said, joking that Marlon would be chuffed.
While it’s good news, will April make good on her word?
With her apprenticeship at Take A Vow not coming to fruition, and Ray keen to have her and Dylan carrying out his ‘odd jobs’ – with April having completed one already last week – could she instead be lured into more drug running and the criminal world?
