The Bold and the Beautiful star Murielle Hilaire recently teased an upcoming appearance on the soap. The actress shared a behind-the-scenes look at the soap’s new Sunset Las Palmas Studios (SLPS).
B&B’s New Studio
In June, Deadline reported that the CBS soap would leave its home of 38 years. “It’s been an extraordinary 38 years at Television City, where we have produced over 9,600 episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful,” head writer and executive producer Bradley Phillip Bell said.
B&B’s stars are getting settled at their new filming home, SLPS, after the show’s summer break. Bell said, “As we look ahead, we’re excited to begin this next chapter at Sunset Las Palmas Studios — continuing our production in the heart of Hollywood and the great state of California.” The cast has been checking in on social media, giving fans a look at the famed studio.
Don Diamont took to Instagram on the first day of shooting to showcase SLPS’ cheery pink walls and framed photos of legends like Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Lawrence Saint-Victor gave fans a walking tour as he spoke about everything he’d been up to during B&B’s production hiatus including filming a movie.
A social media post at SLPS is starting to become a signifier of who we’re going to be seeing this fall and what storylines might be at the forefront, including triangles.
Daphne’s back
Hilaire couldn’t resist hopping on the Gram to show off the soap’s new location, too. She posted a video to her Stories as she strutted down the lot to the tune of “Looking For Us” by Jas Von and Kidd G. Letting folks know she’s back in Hollywood and on-set means Daphne will be gracing the screen in the next couple of months.

While Hilaire’s song choice doesn’t have to be a tease for what’s next for Daphne, the lyrics “I’m looking for some trouble tonight/
I need me a good old time/But it’s never enough” is eyebrow-raising. Fans speculated what it might mean for the perfumer.
The last time Daphne appeared on B&B, she flirted with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) outside of Forrester’s CEO office. He’s engaged to Hope (Annika Noelle), but Daphne’s fallen for him, so sparks are certain to fly when they’re around each other. They’ve got the kind of dynamic that’ll be a source of trouble if it continues. The question is, how long will B&B viewers have to wait to see what becomes of their chemistry?
Will Carter And Daphne Keep Simmering?
If the soap follows its typical production schedule, we may not see what Hilaire’s filming until October. However, much is set to happen on B&B before then, including Matthew Atkinson’s return as Thomas.
We can likely expect some kind of drama surrounding him and Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) since he’s presumably still engaged to her daughter, Paris (Diamond White). Thope fans are hoping Thomas coming home means he’ll be thrown into the middle of Hope’s (Annika Noelle) romance with Carter. If that does happen, or Liam (Scott Clifton) ends up being the catalyst for Cope trouble, Carter may find himself rethinking turning Daphne down.
Whether you believe Carter should focus on himself if his relationship with Hope sours, or if you’re rooting for him to find a love that sticks, it does seem like Daphne will be somewhere in the mix of all that unfolds.
