Mick Makes A Move On Daisy | Coronation Street

**A Scene from Coronation Street: Mick Makes a Move on Daisy**

Mick approached Daisy, his expression a mix of concern and awkwardness. “I’m really sorry about what happened. I hope you’re okay.”

Daisy shook her head, her grief evident. “Of course, I’m not okay. How could I be? I lost my baby—I didn’t get a choice in any of this.”

Mick hesitated, unsure how to respond. “I just meant that I hope you feel better soon.”

“Why would time make things better coming from you?” Daisy retorted sharply. “You don’t even want yours. Do I need to justify my pain to you?”

Mick lowered his voice. “I didn’t mean to upset you. I was just trying to be nice.”

Daisy scoffed. “Nice? You think that’s what I need? Maybe we should just forget this conversation.”

The tension hung in the air as she continued. “Did I not respond the way you thought I would? How awful of me, right?”

Mick tried to steer the conversation back. “You’re not working today, are you?”

Daisy sighed. “I have a broken arm, Mick. Trust me, I can still serve drinks or take payments. It’s not just about the arm.”

“Can you drop the ‘caring mother’ act? It feels fake,” Mick shot back, frustration creeping into his voice.

“Oh great, let’s pile more onto my day then,” she replied, her sarcasm biting. “Thank you for not reporting David for blackmailing me on the day I lost my baby.”

Mick raised his hands, trying to diffuse her anger. “I haven’t reported him yet, but please, let’s try to put this all behind us.”

Daisy glared at him. “There’s no forgiveness here—neither for David nor for you. It’s exhausting hearing people keep saying they’re sorry for my loss.”

“Did she say anything about David? We found the driver, didn’t we?” Mick pressed, desperate for answers.

“Why would she? It’s none of your business,” Daisy snapped.

Mick frowned. “I’m just trying to piece everything together. I know how strong you are, but you also need to allow yourself to be vulnerable.”

Daisy crossed her arms, clearly frustrated. “You don’t know me. I don’t need your help to feel like a victim.”

Mick softened his tone. “Look, I’m worried about you. You just need to tell me everything.”

As they spoke, another man approached, attempting to charm Daisy. “So, how does a good-looking woman like you end up in a place like this?” he asked, leaning in.

Daisy rolled her eyes. “Just trying to be friendly.”

Mick interjected, sensing the tension. “You’re just hitting on her, aren’t you? Leave her alone.”

Daisy cut in, “I can take care of myself, thank you very much.”

Mick replied, “It’s just that she’s been through a lot lately. Maybe you should back off a bit.”

Daisy sighed, seeking solace. “I really just need to be alone… Maybe I’ll take a nap.”

Mick turned to her, concern still etched on his face. “If you need to talk, I’m here.”

“I just wanted someone to talk to who isn’t involved in all this mess,” Daisy admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Mick, feeling the weight of his own feelings, let out a heavy breath. “I love you, Daisy. I’m truly sorry for everything.”

Her expression shifted to disbelief. “How can you say that to me? You think that fixes things?”

“It’s how I feel. I wish I could change what happened,” Mick insisted.

“We’ve messed things up beyond repair, Mick. It’s too late for us,” Daisy replied, a sadness settling in her chest.

Mick reached out, wanting to bridge the gap between them. “Do you love me?”

The silence was thick as Daisy finally spoke, “No, not anymore. I think you should leave.”

“Please, Daisy…” Mick started, but she interrupted.

“Just go. I need space.”

As he walked away, the unresolved emotions hung in the air, encapsulating the heartache of their past and the uncertainty of what lay ahead.
