Dannii appeared on Home and Away at the start of her career
After leaving the soap in 1990, Dannii focused on her music career, launching her debut album Love and Kisses.
She had nine top ten UK hits including All I Wanna Do, I Begin To Wonder, and You Won’t Forget About Me.
Dannii later ventured into reality TV, serving as a judge on The X Factor and Australia‘s Got Talent, among others.
She is now set for a role in Imposter, an upcoming four-part drama series set to air on Channel 5.
The show stars Jackie Woodbourne, best known as Neighbours icon Susan Kennedy.
The cast also features Kym Marsh, who notably starred as Michelle Connor in Coronation Street.
Set in Australia, the premise follows a bitter family dispute as matriarch Helen (played by Jackie) refuses to sell a seaside hotel.
Having faced pressure from her three adult children, the decision is even more intensified.
But a curveball soon comes due to Helen’s secret – she gave a daughter up for adoption decades ago.
After Amanda (Kym) appears, Helen welcomes her into the family with open arms – but is the newcomer all she seems?

What was initially a complex scheme – with the hotel as the grand prize – ultimately spirals into betrayal and murder.
Filming for the upcoming series is set to take place in Victoria, Australia.
Imposter marks a screen return for Jackie, 69, following Neighbours concluding once again.
Earlier this year, The Sun told how the soap had been axed for a second time – after production company Fremantle failed to agree a new deal with Amazon.
It came just two years since Amazon brought the soap back to life after it was axed by Channel 5 after 37 years.
Amazon announced at the end of 2022 that it was bringing the iconic programme back in a multi-year deal.
A source said at the time: “Amazon gave Fremantle two years to see if it worked but sadly they just didn’t get the viewers.
“It’s a really sad day especially for the cast and crew who work on the show in Melbourne.
“This really is the end of Neighbours just as it’s celebrated it’s 40th birthday.”
