As the last remaining original cast member, Roache was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event, a moment made even more special by his co-star Claire Sweeney, who plays Cassie Plummer, presenting him with the accolade. Expressing his gratitude, Roache shared his deep appreciation for the recognition, calling it an “incredible honor” and reflecting on his remarkable six-decade-long journey on Coronation Street.
