Emmerdale fans ‘know’ who saves Mack from John’s bunker in woods

Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve figured out who will discover Mackenzie Boyd in the hidden bunker, following the shocking revelation that he is still alive.

Mackenzie, played by Lawrence Robb, was last seen on the popular soap being pursued through the woods by clandestine murderer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

Just moments before, Mack had deduced that John was responsible for the murder of Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) last year and the subsequent disposal of his body in a lake.

In a desperate bid to prevent Mack from escaping, a tense confrontation ensued in the woods, during which John shot Mack with a crossbow arrow, piercing his chest.

Despite being injured but still alive, Mack found himself cornered by John, who then seemingly killed him with a large rock.

Later in the village, viewers were shown what appeared to be Mack’s body, covered with a blanket in the back of his van, with blood dripping and flies buzzing around it.

John aroused further suspicion among viewers when he concealed something in the woods. Since then, John has taken a short break with his husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) at a cottage, which was revealed in Friday’s episode (August 29) to be John’s childhood home.

Later, John was seen entering a secret underground bunker in the woods. In a dramatic turn of events, it was revealed that Mackenzie is indeed alive and being held captive in this secret bunker, reports the Daily Star.

Now, viewers are convinced they’ve figured out who will discover Mack and potentially save him. On a popular Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer exclaimed: “I knew it! ! Just knew Mack was still alive! !”.

In the comments section, several fans speculated that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) might be the one to find him, given that he left the village a few months ago and is currently residing in the countryside in his car. One fan commented: “Let’s hope Bear whose living n the woods finds him.”

Another added: “I forgot that bear was living in his car around the woods too. Ooo hes definitely got to come across him. This John storyline is beginning to wear thin now.” A third agreed, simply stating: “I totally agree.”
