Ever before Yellowstone aired its (apparent) final episode last week, the Dutton fandom was already atwitter with word of a spinoff series starring fan-favorite couple Beth and Rip.
The news has yet to be officially confirmed by Paramount, which has understandably kept many on edge. However, in lieu of network confirmation, it now seems that fans are getting the thumbs up from some very important insiders: the stars themselves, Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser.
Following the Yellowstone finale, Reilly took to her Instagram to share a sweet post memorializing her time on the show. It was the comments, though, that really garnered attention, as Reilly spent some time responding to fans, including one who got direct about the possibility of a spinoff. When asked if the rumors of a Beth and Rip series were true, Reilly responded with a simple but resounding “True,” followed by a white heart emoji.
Reilly wasn’t the only one stoking fans hope, though. Hauser shared a post of his own from the early days of filming Yellowstone with a hint at more to come.

“This is the first picture that @emersonmiller showed me on @yellowstone Aug 2017,” the star wrote in the caption for a photo of himself as Rip riding the range. “What a ride. What a office. See ya on the next 🇺🇸”
While Paramount has continued to remain mum on the subject of a Rip and Beth spinoff, according Deadline, who first reported the news, the series would carry the word “Yellowstone” in the title, unlike the series’s prequels 1883, 1923, and 1944, or the upcoming spinoff The Madison and could potentially stream on Paramount+ instead of the flagship series’s streaming home on Peacock. Thus far, no other news about what the show would entail has been forthcoming, but given that the characters moved to their very own ranch in the season finale, it’s safe to say that if a new series does materialize, it will bring plenty of cowboy drama with it.
