Check out the latest word on the highly anticipated sixth season of Virgin River ahead of its release on Netflix next year.

Virgin River fans were ecstatic when series lead Martin Henderson dropped a thrilling update on the next outing.

Season six hasn’t got an official release date so far, but new episodes are expected to drop on Netflix at some point near the beginning of 2025.

In the meantime, fans have been eagerly checking Martin and Alexandra Breckenridge’s Instagram pages for updates.

Alexandra’s followers were distraught when the Mel Monroe star recently revealed she had contracted Covid for the fourth time since the start of the pandemic.

However, one of the most exciting posts came from Jack Sheridan star Martin, who revealed recently that the team was heading into the “final stretch” of shooting.

“It takes an army! Final stretch of shooting Season 6 of #virginriverseries,” he confirmed at the end of May.

“….make up making me presentable for shooting the last few scenes.

“Been a huge season with a lot of what I hope makes you fans very happy.”

He shared the update alongside a picture of himself getting his eyebrows touched up in the makeup chair.

Fans were thrilled to get a snippet of info about the eagerly awaited next season of Virgin River, but many of them couldn’t help but express their impatience at the lengthy wait.

“Are you hiding. Where are you. Not fair. We miss you,” one fan replied.

Another asked: “When shall we see it? This fall Or?”

While a third demanded: “Hurry up with that series !!! It better be good or else…”

“How long until we see season 6? We’re excited!” a fourth exclaimed.

Viewers have another reason to be excited as this season also features Martin making his directorial debut for one of the episodes.
