Kevin lets Shona and Nick watch the CCTV footage which shows the mystery arsonist snooping around the garage.

The culprit’s identity is unclear to Kevin, but Shona is horrified as a realisation dawns on her. What has she seen?

2. David is defended by Adam

Adam warns Kit it’s time to release David from police custody, as there’s no evidence linking him to the fire.

Nick also backs down with his theories, apologising to David for suspecting him.

3. Leanne is next to face Kit

Leanne is summoned for a police interview with Kit, who lists the evidence which links her to the fire.

Although Leanne acknowledges how bad her situation looks, she promises Kit that she’s innocent.

4. Kit receives some important evidence

Leanne becomes Kit’s prime suspect, but he holds off on charging her because he’s waiting for some new evidence from the forensics department.

When the official forensics report comes through, Kit is shocked by what it shows.

5. David receives a tempting offer

David receives a £2,000 payment from Andy in return for his part in the recent robbery. Andy then tries to tempt David into taking part in a much bigger job.

David listens as Andy talks him through the details of the job, but remains undecided over whether to get involved.

Meanwhile, Nick has his own proposition for David.

6. Rob’s fling is revealed

Rob kisses prison guard Mandy as she collects him from his cell. With the pair in cahoots, a cunning plan starts to unfold as Rob is rushed to hospital due to an allergic reaction to some antibiotics.

Carla heads to the hospital to check on her brother, but Mandy distracts her by claiming that the consultant needs to speak to her. With Carla gone, Mandy uncuffs Rob and gives him an opportunity to make his escape.

7. Carla and Rob’s operation day arrives

Mandy’s plan doesn’t pay off, so Rob is taken back to prison following his hospital visit. Carla visits to let him know that he’s a suitable match for the transplant and the operations will take place the next day.

The following morning, the doctor announces a delay to Carla’s operation and fears mount that Rob could back out at the last minute. Will he go through with the transplant?

8. Mason’s funeral day arrives

On the day of Mason’s funeral, Tim, Yasmeen, Dylan, Betsy, Lisa, Liam and Maria gather to pay their respects.

Troubled Abi wants to join them, but soon has second thoughts as she dashes off.

9. Kevin receives his test results

With Abi distracted by her own issues, it’s Sally who joins Kevin as he attends his hospital appointment to receive his test results. After hearing that he needs an operation, Kevin rushes out.

Later in the week, Kevin decides that the time is right to tell Jack about his results.

10. Abi seeks some help

Abi visits Dr Gaddas and describes her recent hallucinations.

Later in the week, Abi’s issues continue as Debbie arrives at the Webster house to find something burning in the oven and the smoke alarm blaring. All becomes clear when it’s revealed that Abi is experiencing a flashback.

11. Daniel tries to see Bethany

Daniel pays a visit to Sarah’s flat, wanting to convince Bethany not to leave Weatherfield after all.

12. Lou and Mick arrive

Newcomer Lou makes her first appearance in Weatherfield, causing a scene in the Corner Shop as she complains to Aadi about prices. Lou recognises Gemma as one of the mums from Bessie Street and tries to strike up a friendship with her.

Later in the week, Gemma informs Chesney that Lou and her husband Mick will be moving into Mawdsley Street in the house just across the ginnel from them.

Gemma arranges for them to all have a drink together, unaware that Mick is the mysterious van man who has been tormenting Chesney.

13. Dev plans to leave

Dev shares the sad news that his Aunty Gita has suffered a fall, so he’ll be heading off to India to take care of her for a while. He asks his fiancée Bernie if she’d like to go with him.

Later, after booking his flights, Dev puts Aadi in charge of his businesses while he’s away.

14. Cassie is honest with Leanne

On Valentine’s Day, Cassie confides in Leanne about how much she cares for Steve.

Leanne encourages Cassie to go for it, but soon finds herself feeling lonely as she’s surrounded by loved-up couples at The Rovers.
