SEAL Team: Full Metal Characters Explained
Full Metal is a memorable character in the Paramount+ military drama, but viewers may have trouble pinpointing where exactly they’ve seen the actor before. While fans wait for SEAL Team season 7 to premiere, they can head back to Paramount+ and rewatch previous seasons, while reminding themselves of the large cast of characters that have come and gone in the series movie. Starring David Boreanaz as Jason Hayes, SEAL Team follows real-life elite soldiers as they carry out a variety of missions.

The SEAL team relies on the likable cast of characters that surround Hayes as they strengthen their bonds throughout the mission and endure losses together. The core cast of SEAL Team remains the same throughout the series, but there are many recurring characters whose influence on the soldiers remains even after they’re gone, and that goes double for Scott. “Full Metal” Carter (Scott Foxx), the show’s influencer, is both a character and a behind-the-scenes contributor to the Emmy-nominated series.

Scott “Full Metal” Carter first appeared in season 1, episode 10, “Pattern of Life”. Full Metal is the Senior Special Warfare Executive of Bravo Team and is sometimes referred to as Alpha 1, as he was previously the leader of Alpha Team before moving to Bravo to replace Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot). after he was injured. A capable and loyal soldier, Full Metal is a useful addition to the Bravo team, following orders despite the fact that until recently he was the team leader.

With no family or pets, Team Alpha and later Bravo were his real family, making his death a little less painful. At least he died protecting the people he loved, the only family he had ever known. Before he died, Full Metal left a letter for them and no one else, filled with his usual humor, although Bravo was unable to laugh, a sign of Full Metal’s death. How much does it affect them?
If Foxx seems unusually adept at playing a soldier, it’s probably because he was actually a Navy SEAL at one time, (via TVLine). Foxx was stationed in San Diego, California and served two tours in Iraq in 2005 and 2007 (via Distractify). He posted on Instagram about his time serving in the military and was clearly proud of his previous career. Foxx retired after the 2007 tour and began consulting on Hollywood productions of Special Forces units. That’s why he was eventually chosen to play Full Metal in SEAL Team.

However, just because Full Metal is dead doesn’t mean Foxx won’t appear. Series executive producer Spencer Hudnut quickly told TVLine,

“I would like to add that Scott Foxx, who plays Metal and is a former SEAL, even though his character is dead, he will still be attached to the movie. He will be there every day with us in an advisor and double capacity. .”

Foxx’s filmography is limited, with his only other roles being Travis Carter alongside Josh Brolin and Miles Teller in Joseph Kosinski’s Only the Brave and in the 2022 miniseries Innocence as Cop #1, but 51 episodes His films with SEAL Team were effective enough that he soon appeared in more roles. If not, consulting in Hollywood is also a great career path.
