
SEAL Team season 5 release: David Boreanaz hints at production update in cryptic post
SEAL TEAM season five can’t come soon enough for fans of CBS’ hit military drama – especially with Jason Hayes and co finding a new home on Paramount Plus. And now, the actor behind the show’s frontman, David Boreanaz, has revealed when the group will return to filming.

Following the action-packed and emotional conclusion of SEAL Team season four, which saw the departure of one of the show’s most beloved characters in Full Metal (played by Scott Foxx), fans of the series CBS drama is eagerly waiting to see where the challenges lie. lead the way for Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) and the rest of Team Bravo. With the military drama only returning briefly to CBS before moving permanently to the Paramount Plus streaming service, season five promises to be a season like no other.
And now, Boreanaz seems to have shed some light on how things are going in the upcoming series on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Boreanaz shared a photo of his alter ego Jason in action, dressed in military gear.
Finished in camouflage colors, Jason wears an assault rifle around his neck with a magazine slung across his chest.
The photo is not from SEAL Team’s fifth season, but the caption Boreanaz attached seems to shed some light on the production of the upcoming series.
Next to a photo of Jason posted on July 2, Boreanaz wrote: “22 days. Jason Hayes.”
Sadly, fans weren’t able to leave glowing comments under the post but it still garnered over 40,000 likes.
And given another update from co-star AJ Buckley – who plays Sonny on the CBS soap – it seems Boreanaz is counting down the days until filming of season five begins.
And since the film has found a new home on Paramount Plus, fans can expect a bit of a change in the action.
Boreanaz spoke out about the move from network television to streaming, commenting: “Oh my God. I’ve been doing network television for over 20 years and now I can drop the F-bomb? But it’s not about dropping the F-bomb.
