There’s no denying the close bond between Bradley Walsh and his son Barney, a relationship that fans adore.
Beloved television presenter Bradley, 60, has become one of the nation’s favourite TV personalities, featuring on numerous shows over the years, including ITV’s hit game show The Chase.
Bradley’s TV career took off when he secured the role of host on The Wheel Of Fortune in 1997, before joining the cast of Coronation Street as Danny Baldwin from 2004 to 2006.
However, it’s through Breaking dad that viewers have been given a glimpse into Bradley’s personal life, thanks to his son Barney.
The series is a coming-of-age road trip that sees Bradley and Barney journeying across the globe in an RV, taking on various challenges along the way, such as centrifuge training and snow rallying.

Fans are thrilled as the pair are set to return to our screens for the sixth series of their popular ITV show. The upcoming series will see the father-son duo embark on another epic adventure, this time exploring the sights and tastes of Japan and Thailand.
Barney is quickly gaining popularity, much like his famous father. He previously had a recurring role on The Larkins as PC Harness and in 2023, he joined the cast of Casualty, playing Cameron Mickelthwaite.
He has also collaborated with his dad for a second series, with the pair co-presenting the reboot of Gladiators.
Speaking on This Morning about their father-son relationship, Bradley Walsh shared: “He has always been my son, and you always take care of them. But then all of a sudden he becomes your equal and a work colleague, and a mate, and someone you respect.

“Now I look up to him. Barney, bless him, was directing me on some of the things ‘Dad don’t worry about this, you need to be thinking about this’, and actually producing me.”
Barney is Bradley’s only child with choreographer wife, Donna Derby, and has a half-sister named Hayley from one of Bradley’s prior relationships.
Outside his filming ventures with his father, Barney pursues a successful career as a presenter and actor in his own right. His acting skills were honed at the esteemed Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
