THE former soap star didn’t hold back as they broke their silence on being written out of the show.
Actor Dean Andrews – who played Will Taylor in Emmerdale – was killed off on Christmas Day when his character suffered a heart attack.
Viewers watched as Will’s scheme against wife Kim Tate was exposed by the man secretly pulling his strings – Joe Tate.
But as Will tried to insist that he’d stopped his plan and really did love Kim, it all became too much and he collapsed with chest pains.
However in a tragic twist, Kim didn’t believe him and waited too long to try to save him, ultimately watching him die.
Joe lied for Kim and claimed she had immediately called for help, putting her in his debt while hiding his own dark secret.
Viewers saw him struggling in his hotel room and knocking back medication desperately.
And now he’s set to come under suspicion for Will’s death with Billy and Dawn convinced he returned to kill Will.
Meanwhile, actor Dean has took to Instagram to confirm to fans that his character is definitely dead.
He revealed he was on the soap for five and a half years and has loved working with “his little family on Emmerdale” who are “really lovely people” as well as the “amazing crew.”
He added it is now time to “move on” and is looking forward to 2025.
And he shared his hopes to work on the big screen, or do adverts or voiceover work.
He then took a swipe at the ITV soap as he ended his video apologising to the fans for not doing a farewell video, before whispering “I wasn’t asked.”
Dean captioned the video: “Just a quick message from me to thank you all and to quash any rumours regarding my character.
