Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s Favor
Let’s start off with Lauren, who reconnects with Christine. Fans know that Christine is engaged to Danny. They have a wedding to plan, so the favor that Christine asks must have something to do with that.
Of course, Lauren will be thrilled to help out “Cricket.”

Daniel Romalotti, Jr’s Confession
Meanwhile, Danny and Daniel will catch up. The father will gush about getting to marry the woman of his dreams. At some point, the conversation will turn to Daniel’s heart.
Fans already know that Daniel and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) have been spending a lot of time together and have bonded. Daniel admits to his father that he might be developing romantic feelings for Tessa.
Mariah Copeland’s Crisis
While they are both technically single, Daniel will worry about the timing. Tessa isn’t even divorced yet. There is also a possibility that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will get her act together and reunite with Tessa.
At the same time, Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death has shown Daniel to seize the moment. The next day is never guaranteed. So, he might feel compelled to act on it but won’t want to risk his friendship with Tessa.
Back with Mariah, is she really getting therapy? She seems to be looking for any excuse to distance herself from everyone, including Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Is Mariah going to get better, or could she be headed on another downward spiral?
Nick Newman Recruited
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 14 reveal that Victor will put a plan in motion towards an enemy. This is clearly Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). The patriarch will need a little help, though.
Victor ends up asking Nick to take part in this plan.

Since Nick has so much rage built up toward Cane, I could see him going for it. I wonder if Nick will end up regretting this later, though. Could we see Nick turn dark while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) becomes the next “good son”?
