Coronation Street‘s Tracy McDonald is caught out in Monday’s episode after her cruel revenge plan against Cassie Plummer.
Tracy faces a backlash after it’s revealed that she played a key role in Cassie being tempted by drugs again.
Cassie is currently public enemy number one on the Street after her evil mistreatment of Tracy’s dad Ken.
While working as Ken’s unofficial carer, Cassie secretly spiked his drinks and stole from him by using his credit card without permission.
Last week, Tracy retaliated by trying to ruin Cassie’s life as she presented her with drugs and encouraged her to get stuck in – risking all the progress she has made since getting clean.
In Monday’s episode, Cassie is thwarted by Roy Cropper when he spots her meeting with a dealer to buy drugs. When Roy threatens to call the police, the dealer gets spooked and rushes off.
Later, Cassie’s mum Evelyn takes the reins as she tries to reason with her once and for all.
For the first time, Cassie explains how Tracy preyed on her when she was at her most vulnerable – and it’s not long before word gets back to the Barlows.
Can Tracy be forgiven after her shocking behaviour? Fans can see exactly how the drama plays out when the episode airs at 8pm on ITV1 tonight, or right now on ITVX.
Show bosses are building up to another big storyline for Tracy later this week, as she comes face-to-face with her ex-partner Rob Donovan for the first time in years.
Rob asks to hide out at No.1 while considering his next move while on the run, and it’s not long before Tracy starts to regret being caught up in the chaos.
