Emmerdale spoilers follow from Thursday’s episode (January 9), which is available to watch on streaming service ITVX but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale star Dean Andrews has made another unexpected reappearance on the show despite his Christmas death scene.
The actor’s character Will Taylor returns for another cameo in Thursday’s episode as he comes back to haunt his wife Kim Tate.
Will suffered a fatal heart attack at Christmas amid a furious row with Kim at Home Farm.
He later made a cameo in a video message that he’d recorded before his death, warning his daughter Dawn that Kim had planned to kill him.
This week’s episodes saw Will laid to rest after a dramatic funeral day, but fans still hadn’t quite seen the last of him.
Thursday’s episode sees Dawn slyly spike Kim’s coffee with ketamine in a desperate bid to get the full story over Will’s demise.
Dawn is refusing to let go of her suspicions that Will’s death was caused by foul play, despite a coroner’s report stating that he passed away from natural causes.
When Kim starts hallucinating due to the effects of the drug, she thinks that she can see Will back at Home Farm.
The eerie vision of ‘Will’ piles pressure on a vulnerable Kim to confess over his death, but the reality is that she’s talking to Dawn.
Is Dawn about to find out that Kim delayed getting Will help at Christmas? Fans can see the episode tonight on ITV1 or right now on ITVX.
Dean Andrews recently released a goodbye message for fans after his character was killed off.
He said: “I just wanted to come on to thank everybody that has sent messages regarding my departure from Emmerdale. There was a little conjecture as to whether Will was dead – he is dead, he’s gone. I’ve been left for around seven or eight weeks.
“I’d been there for around five-and-a-half years, and in that [time] I worked with some really lovely people – some amazing crew and my little family along the way have always been lovely to work with, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. But it’s time to move on, and move on we shall.”
