What Made CBS Decide to Renew Justin Hartley’s ‘Tracker’ for a Second Season?

We knew we had something special when we saw the first cut of the series, and the overwhelming response from viewers confirmed it. We can’t thank Justin, our talented cast, our incredible writing and production teams, and our partners at 20th Television enough for such compelling episodes. And of course, we’re incredibly grateful to the millions of viewers who tune in each week.”
The series stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone survivor who roams the country in search of a bounty, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all sorts of mysteries while struggling with his own broken family. The series is based on the best-selling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver.
Hartley, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid and Ben Winters serve as executive producers. Tracker will be off next Sunday, likely due to the Oscars airing on ABC, but will return with an all-new episode on Sunday, March 17. Check out the trailer for the episode, titled “St. Louis,” below. Tune in for the sixth episode, titled “Lexington,” when Hartley’s real-life wife, Sofia Pernas (ex-Marisa, Y&R), makes an appearance.
